Duro-Last® has officially launched Duro‑TECH™ TPO, a state-of-the-art thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) membrane system that brings the manufacturer’s industry-leading quality into the TPO market. Known for its custom-fabricated PVC roofing systems, Duro-Last is now offering TPO roll goods with the same reliability and performance that contractors and building owners have expected. 

What Is Duro-TECH TPO? 

Duro-TECH TPO is a 60-millimeter-thick thermoplastic membrane with an industry-first 30-millimeter-thick top performance layer, the part of the membrane exposed to weather and environmental stressors. This is the thickest top layer available in the TPO market, delivering increased resistance to UV rays, impact, and general wear and tear. 

What truly sets Duro‑TECH TPO apart is its weft-inserted, anti-wicking scrim. This densely woven reinforcement layer, featuring nine threads by nine threads per inch, prevents moisture from wicking under the membrane, a common cause of long-term roof degradation. Because of this innovation, no seam sealant is required at overlaps, saving time and labor during installation while enhancing long-term waterproofing performance.
